Barbieri Piuma NXT Ultralight TPU Road Bike Inner Tube 28"

The Barbieri Piuma NXT Ultralight TPU inner tube is based on the tried-and-tested NXT series. 
However, "Piuma", the Italian word for spring, already hints at the concept of the inner tube: consistent lightweight construction.

Compared to the NXT, it is said to be up to around 40 % lighter and even offer weight savings of up to 70 % compared to conventional butyl hoses. The recyclable thermoplastic material offers less weight, greater puncture resistance and better rolling behaviour than butyl.

In this road version, the inner tube is optimised for use with road bike tyres between 23 and 32 mm wide. With a weight of around 29 g with a valve length of 45 mm and a very compact pack size, it is currently the lightest TPU tube from Barbieri.

Note:
TPU tubes may only be inflated carefully outside the casing until they are wrinkle-free and have a round shape. Barbieri specifies a maximum air pressure outside the tyre of 0.3 bar (4.5 psi) for ALL TPU inner tubes! 

ATTENTION:
This inner tube is only suitable for bikes with disc brakes and must NOT be used on bikes with rim brakes.

Tip:
If a puncture does occur, you can repair the inner tube with the Barbieri repair kit for TPU inner tubes (prod. code: 1633460001).
