The mechanical SHIMANO DEORE XT RD-M8230-SGS is designed for smooth gear changes under particularly high loads and is therefore particularly suitable for use on an e-bike. The long cage covers a gear range of 11 to 50 teeth. It is controlled classically via a gear cable and requires no separate power supply.

LINKGLIDE technology complements this mechanical construction with a robust setup for everyday use, touring and sporty off-road riding. On the trail, the flat, wedge-shaped SHADOW ES profile reduces the surface area, while the stable wide-link design and protected jockey wheels keep dirt and gravel out of the mechanism better.
